Power Pigs is a lightning show-rock-power-trio, which over the years has established itself in the heavier part of the Rock. The band consists of Svinet "Evil-eye Cherry"(vocals and bass), Helge "Fast than Light"(guitars) and Dmamuc(Tore - "Dirty Mean and Mighty Unclean")(Drums), and started originally as a quartet, but the then bass-player soon felt that rock wasn't his kind of bag, and chose a career within jazz. However, this suited the band just fine. It turned out that the power-trio-format was ideal for the three, young and eminent skilled musicians. Many experts would also say that Power Pigs sat the standard for later power-trios. Still, after long years on the road, the band decided, with heavy hearts, to hold their farewell-concert on new years eve 1997 for an exclusive audience from the "Piglets"-fanclub. After this, the bandmembers went to work on different projects. They wanted to work with things they had dreamt of doing over the years. Meanwhile, someone executed a cunning plan to make money on Power Pigs' glorious name and reputation. Three pathetic an miserable "men" (probably from hell) went on tour taking the name Power Pigs, and dangerous times lay ahead. Was the name Power Pigs about to be filthed and destroyed forever? The news reached the original band and they realised that there was only one thing to do. The band had to reunite. The fate of the Power Pigs-duplicate is unknown and not of any interest whatsoever, but last seen, they wore pink suits playing Casio-synths on the ferry to Denmark. The original and only Power Pigs had decided, and new years eve 1998 they held a reunite-concert, and at the same time opening-concert to the "Tinitus Suicide Tour 99". There is noe longer any doubt. Power Pigs is back, and they will rock hard…and long…
